We’re Joe and Jen, documentary-style family photographers based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We are passionate about documenting families as honestly as possible. It’s our goal to create a time capsule of your life together as it is now - all of the true personalities, messy moments, and deep connections you cherish the most. We also promise to make an easy, fun, and meaningful experience along the way!

Joe, our lead photographer, will be the one photographing your session. On top of his awesome personality, he has a major talent for interacting with kiddos of all ages. He has a natural ability to put people at ease in front of his camera, helping him to capture honest, captivating, and timeless family photos. Jen is our behind-the-scenes manager. She’ll be there from the first email to the final print to make planning and logistics a breeze.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Beautiful, candid photos are a way to transport you to a different time. When created with love and intention, they make a specific and special piece of your history together into a permanent story. In many ways your family photos become a time capsule, solidifying your memories and helping you hold on to a moment in time.

Documenting families as they are now is a passion of ours, and we want to show the heart of your family as honestly as possible. We will be there to anticipate and capture the personalities and moments that matter most in the long run. We won’t stage or edit things like trends think they ought to be, because we want your photos to be spontaneous, unscripted, and unique to your family. We’ll allow space for your session to happen naturally, and we promise to make it a fun and easy experience along the way.
